02/11/2016, arriving at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria under tow of salvage tug 'Salvanguard'.
An engine room fire disabled the vessel in the early hours of 1 November, off the Western Sahara coast near Laayoune, & some 90 miles from Las Palmas.
No reported casualties. 
Vessel was on a southbound voyage from Algeciras, Spain to Conakry, Guinea at the time of the incident. 
Salvage vessel 'Salvanguard' was dispatched from Las Palmas to tow the disabled vessel to Las Palmas for discharge & repairs.
