Air ambulance called to scene of overturned lorry in Felixstowe

A man has suffered a head injury after the lorry he was driving overturned in Felixstowe.


A man is in hospital after his Lorry flipped over on Trinity Avenue in Felixstowe. 
Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust and the air ambulance have been called to Dock Gate two, on the A154 Trinity Avenue.
The incident occurred at around 7.30am and the driver of the lorry is currently being treated by ambulance personnel.
The road is currently blocked, with officers on the scene reporting that the roundabout by the dock gate will be out of use for some time while the lorry is recovered and a large diesel spill is cleared up.
A local diversion is in place, but a police spokesman said the incident was not causing significant traffic disruption.
Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with information, are asked to call 101 with information quoting reference CAD 46 of today.
