Any idea what caused the ship to bank so much in the first place? Was there a problem with ballast tanks or something, because i noticed that you didn't continue loading after they got the ship back to balance?
No, no problems, or if they had, no one told us. The agent was called on board and it took some time to fill the tanks, that's all i know. Talked with a foreman, the captain said that the ship would have capsized without the spring and bow lines..
Talked with one foreman, Captain told that if they had been at sea, the ship would had capsized, ropes helped it from tilting more..
Ship was even more tilted to starboard side, tried to straighten it up with load on port side. Well, that didn't work..
